Academic support for The Bahamas
A national exam system of its own — and support that respects the difference.
How the system works here
The Bahamas runs its own national examinations rather than the CXC route used by most of the region: the Bahamas Junior Certificate (BJC) in junior high, and the Bahamas General Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE) at the end of senior high.
BJC
The national junior-high examination.
BGCSE
The national senior-high examination, graded A to G.
What students here ask us for
- Essay and research writing that meets Bahamian marking standards
- Structured revision technique for BJC and BGCSE
- University-level assignment and dissertation guidance
Everything runs online. We are an independent academic support service and are not affiliated with any examination body, ministry or university.
What's relevant to students in The Bahamas
We will not pretend a regional exam applies where it doesn't. Here is what genuinely transfers.
Skills-based support
Essay structure, research design, referencing, data analysis and revision technique are examination-board neutral. That is the bulk of what we do with students here.
See the servicesIf you do sit CXC subjects
Some students here sit CSEC or CAPE privately or through particular schools. If that is you, the subject guides and Practice Lab apply in full.
